Compton wins World Cup final and looks strong heading into Worlds

If the eighth and final UCI Cyclo-cross World Cup is a sign of things to come, Katie Compton should be a powerful force at the World Championships next week in St. Wendel, Germany. The elite womenand#39;s national champion won her fifth World Cup on Sunday and finished second in the overall World Cup standings. The U.S. contingent of elite men, U23 men, and junior men also performed quite admirably at the World Cup finale in Hoogerheide.
