Kenda made a lot of friends with its Small Block Eight tyre, which offers a lot of grip from what seem like small tread blocks. It?s used this concept and pumped it up to make a tyre that still uses well supported square blocks but with more bite in the loose ? the Slant Six. With the help of John Tomac, Kenda?s dialled another winning tyre.
Slant Six works well in intermediate conditions, devouring grassy, gritty, sandy soils with relish. Designed for loose over hardpack, it?s a great option for hardcore summer trails, but take it easy if you?re in an area that?s prone to slick clay. If you?re going to atrail centre, ?t Slant Sixes for afast rolling, quick turning ride with predictable grip and slide from the well-supported knobs.
With the usual Kenda options like its DTC (60a centre tread with 50a softer edge tread blocks) and Stick-E (full soft, slow rebound 50a rubber), and with standard and UST tubeless and SCT tubeless-ready options in 26 and 29in sizes there?s a Six for everyone.
