Stevens' win highlights stellar time trial national champs

Evelyn Stevens joined 29 others Thursday in slipping on the Stars-and-Stripes jersey after clocking the winning times in the time trial competition at the USA Cycling Juniors, U23, Elite andamp; Para Road National Championships. In all 675 riders raced the clock and dodged raindrops in search of national titles in each category, including various para-cycling divisions, on the beautiful, rolling course at J. Strom Thurmond Dam and Lake on the South Carolina side of its border with Georgia.
